• The Experience: A magical night run through the "Valley of the Moon" illuminated by the full moon. The landscape is world-famous for its rust-red sand and rock formations (featured in movies like Dune and The Martian).

  • Terrain: 100% desert trail. Expect soft sand which significantly increases the difficulty compared to road running.

  • Distances: 50km (Ultra), 21km (Half), 10km, and 5km.

  • Start Time: Evening start (approx. 7:30 PM for long distances) to coincide with the moonrise and cooler temperatures.

  • Logistics: Most runners stay in Bedouin camps (like the Hasan Zawaideh Camp) as part of the race package, creating a communal post-race atmosphere in the heart of the desert.

  • Organiser: Treks.
