Amman Marathon - 2nd October 2026

The 16th edition of the Amman Marathon (officially the Bromine Amman Marathon) will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, in Amman, Jordan. Organized by Run Jordan, the event allows participants to race on fully traffic-free streets through the downtown area, culminating in an awards ceremony at the ancient Roman Amphitheatre.

The event is designed to be highly inclusive and features several race categories:

Marathon (42 km): Available as an individual race or a relay.

Shorter Distances: A 21 km half marathon and a 10 km fun run.

Special Categories: Dedicated races for children, wheelchair athletes, and visually impaired runners.

Recognized with a World Athletics road race label, the marathon serves to promote athleticism, boost tourism in Jordan, and encourage healthy lifestyles across all segments of society.
